Global Car Care is a place where people go to to get taken advantage of. The only reason they have such high ratings is because people do not know better to question what they are being charged for simple repairs. They are very dishonest and will lie to your face, they will try to rob you any chance they get. They are incredibly over priced compared to other local auto repair shops. In my case about $300 more! To get a diagnostic check on my car they charged me a hazardous material fee when there wasn't any hazardous materials involved. I questioned the fee and they eventually dropped it but they wouldn't have if I didn't say anything. Please stay away if you can! There is a lot of other places in Wenatchee for repairs please go somewhere else.
First I would apologize to anyone who has a less than outstanding experience with us, it is everyone’s intention to provide valued, reliable service at Global Car Care and welcome questions about any work estimated or performed. Tyler, came in complaining that when he runs low on gas and the display says 40 miles remaining the car stalls, we explained to Tyler that it may not be a good idea to let the car get that low on fuel because when a fuel pump is installed in the fuel tank the fuel, cools the pump. Tyler wanted us to test for the problem and authorized the procedure. We gave Tyler an estimate for replacing the fuel sending unit which we could only find a complete assembly with the fuel pump, Tyler called other shops and received phone estimates from them and choose not to have his car repaired based on the phone calls. We asked if we could compare estimates to confirm that these were apples to apples estimates Tyler said that the estimates he got were only for the fuel pump, we explained that the fuel sending unit not the pump was the problem and we could only find the sending unit with a pump. Tyler did not have written estimates to compare. When explaining the small charge for testing, Tyler asked about the hazardous material/shop supply charge on his bill, even though we were dealing with gasoline, it was quickly removed.
