I took my car in during the summer for overheating. When I left my car there I emailed them a picture of a part that a friend had told me could be PART of the problem since he had previously taken a look for me. They told me that there was NO leaks, that the only problem was with the fuel pump so they replaced the fuel pump and after the service my car stopped over heating. A month or so went by before the car started marking again to check my coolant level so I took it back to them and they once again told me that there was no leaks but they said they “topped off “ the coolant. In fact they suggested that i “just keep driving it” because these cars (Audi) are special cars and sometimes act funny. So I kept driving it like that for 2+ months. My question was , if there was no leaks why did they need to top off the coolant? Okay, so I kept driving it until finally I decided to take it to a DIFFERENT car shop in Spokane because during those 2+ months I had to keep adding coolant over and over (I added more than a gallon ) so clearly there was a leak. I could smell the coolant and my car sometimes smoked up. The new place I took it to is called Botzons. I showed them the SAME picture that I had previously showed Global Car Care and after the diagnosis they told me that there was indeed a leak and that it had to do with the part in the picture I showed them. It was a one hour service and finally my whole issue was resolved. Global car care did fix my over heating issue but failed to listen to what I suggested and for that reason I drove my car around possibly causing damage to my engine. Maybe they don’t like to be told what is wrong. I guess they know it all. On top of that the customer service is mediocre.
